Upon Arrival, our local operators will welcome you and take you to the hotel by air conditioned chartered coach. Time to relax and enjoy the capital city of China, Beijing.
Day 3 Beijing (B, L, D)
Tour Tiananmen Square, the world's largest public square, capable of holding up to 1 million people. Many government and historical buildings surround the square. Next step through the "Gate of Heavenly Peace", under the famed portrait of Chairman Mao and enter the historical Forbidden City. With 9,999 rooms compose this palace in which 24 emperors ruled during the Ming and Qing dynasties for nearly 500 years. Take your time as you are led on an expansive tour by your extremely knowledgeable guide. Visit the Capital Museum which houses almost 200,000 valuable artifacts unearthed in the Beijing Area.After, enjoy an optional Oriental Foot Massage to relax you.
Day 4 Beijing (B, L, D)
The Great Wall of China will dominate this tour day. You will marvel at the sheer size and grandeur at one the seven wonders of the world, take you time to explore the ‘Juyong Pass Great Wall’ to feel the magnificent landform. We will also visit the Olympic Summer Games venues; The National Stadium commonly referred to as 'Bird's Nest" and the National Aquatic Center, also known as "Water Cube". A special tour of a Jade Factory is included in the day's activities. Special Peking Duck Dinner.
Day 5 Beijing (B)
Leisure day to explore the city on your own.
Day 6 Beijing (B, L, D)
Tour the Temple of Heaven, one of the most photographed buildings in the world, and join locals in Tai Chi or simply enjoy the peace and harmony of the massive 270 hectare park. Summer Palace is also on the agenda for teh day. Summer Palace is mainly dominated by Longevity Hill and the Kunming Lake. In the Summer Palace, one finds a variety of places, gardens, and other classical-style architectural structures.
Day 7 Beijing (B, L, D)
Hutong tour for a cultural immersion-peek into the daily life of a typical Chinese family. Learn (and enjoy) the art of Chinese cooking during a visit to a local household. We will be visiting panda in Beijing zoo and spend the afternoon shopping in the famed Silk Alley Market.
Day 8 Beijing—Zhengzhou (B, L, D)
After breakfast, transfer to Zhengzhou from Beijing. In the afternoon, we will visit Henan Museum.
Day 9 Zhengzhou—Luoyang (B, L, D)
Shaolin Temple was Founded in the 5th century and became the Holy Ground of Kung Fu. Now it is the Mahayana Buddhist monastery perhaps best known to the Western world. Then transfer to Luoyang to visit Longmen Grottoes, which was promulgated a key national cultural relic unit for special protection by the State Council in 1961.
Day 10 Luoyang—Sanmenxia—Xi’an (B, L, D)
After breakfast, we will depart to Sanmenxia to visit Chariot and Horse Burial Pit and Cave Dwellings, and then transfer to Xi’an by high speed rail.
Day 11 Xi’an (B, L, D)
Big Wild Goose Pagoda is a well-preserved ancient building and a holy place for Buddhists. A tour of the historical Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses, they were discovered in 1974 in the tomb of the first emperor of China-Emperor Qin. Then, we’ll visit the Huaqing Hot Springs; it is famous for both its dainty spring scenery and the romantic love story of Emperor Xuanzong and his concubine Yang Guifei in the Tang Dynasty.
Day 12 Xi’an (B, L, D)
Visit the Bell Tower, a symbol of Xi’an, which is built in the Ming Dynasty. Also see one of the oldest and most renowned mosques—The Great Mosque. There will be a tour of the Ancient City Wall. Tour the historical Shaanxi Provincial Museum in the afternoon. In the evening, enjoy Banquet with Musical Show of Tang Dynasty.
Day 13 Xi’an—Beijing—Departure City (B)
After breakfast transfer to the International Airport, then board the flight back to your hometown.

Special Attraction

The Great Wall
Travel to view one of the wonders of the world. Its construction began in the 5th century B.C. as a defense against of the Mongols. The Forbidden City, also named Palace Museum, is the most magnificent and splendid palace complex in China and one of the five world-famous palaces with the Palace of Versailles in France, Buckingham Palace in England, the White House in the U.S. and the Kremlin in Russia. The Forbidden City covers an area of about 72 hectares (178 acres) with a total floor space of approximately 150,000 square meters (1,600,000 square feet). It consists of 90 palaces and courtyards, 980 buildings and 8,704 rooms. To represent the supreme power of the emperor given from God, and the place where he lived being the center of the world, all the gates, palace and other structures of the Forbidden City were arranged about the south-north central axis of Beijing.
Terra Cotta Warriors
At the mention of the great number of Xi’an attractions, terracotta soldiers always come as the first. The great archeological excavation of Qin (221BC-206BC) Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses unfolded a strong army of altogether 7,000 life-size pottery soldiers, horses, chariots and weapons arranged in battle formations symbolically, guarding the tomb of Emperor Qin Shi Huang.
Longmen Grotto
Longmen Grottoes are a treasure house of ancient Buddhist cave art. The grottos were hewed and carved during the Northern Wei Dynasty (386-534), when the rulers relocated their capital at Luoyang near the end of the 5th century.
Temple of Heaven
The Temple of Heaven is a worthwhile visiting place in Beijing. It is much bigger than the Forbidden City and smaller than the Summer Palace with an area of about 2,700,000 square meters. The Temple was built in 1420 A.D. during the Ming Dynasty to offer sacrifice to Heaven. As Chinese emperors called themselves 'The Son of Heaven' ,they dared not to build their own dwelling,'Forbidden City' bigger than a dwelling for Heaven.
Shaolin Temple
The Shaolin Monastery or Shaolin Temple is a Buddhist temple at Song Shan near Zhengzhou City Henan Province in Dengfeng, China. It is led by Venerable abbot Shi Yongxìn. Founded in the 5th century, the monastery is long famous for its association with Chinese martial arts and particularly with Shaolin Kung Fu and it is the Buddhist monastery perhaps best known to the Western world. The Shaolin Monastery and its famed Pagoda Forest were inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2010 as part of the "Historic Monuments of Dengfeng."
