My husband Ken Rattray and I along with our friends, Edna Smith and Joan Armstrong participated in this tour led by Christine Liu.
This was an amazing trip and my husband and I are still talking about the different sites that we saw, the friendly people that we met throughout our tour and the wonderful friends that we made who also went on the tour with us. In spite of the heat and humidity (which we are not accustomed to) we still managed to enjoy all of our time and experiences. We have been telling all of our family members and friends about China, our experiences, the people and it' s amazing history. This is a country with so much rich and diverse culture and we hope to be able to see more of China in the future.
Our special thanks are owed to Christine who worked tirelessly to ensure that all of our needs were met and that the tour would meet our expectations. As well, we are very grateful to Ming Ming, for the support he provided to my husband and I when I took ill on the trip during our visit to Xi'an. 1) Christine interceded with the hotel staff at each hotel or place that we stayed to make sure that my medications were refrigerated and that my freezer packages were kept frozen so my medication would not be contaminated.
2) Christine convinced Tony to alter the schedule so that I would be able to see the Terra Cotta Warriors as I was very ill on the day that was initially scheduled and other members of the tour were extremely tired.
3) Christine spoke with Bi Jung in Bejing and the hotel staff in Xi' an to arrange for a wheel chair so that I would be able to participate on those tours that required considerable walking.
4) Every day I watched Christine interact with all of the folks on the tour to make sure that their needs were met and that everyone was having a good time. Our favourite experiences:

"the River Cruise and the Reed Flute Cave" in Guilin
"the Terra Cotta Warriors and the Ancient City Wall" in Xi'an My husband and I enjoyed this trip so much that we would like to invite my brother and sister in law and our son and daughter - in - law to go to Shanghi next year so that we can see more of your wonderfuly country (assuming that you will still be offering these educational tours). Thank you for offering one of the most impressive and informative tours that we have ever been on.
Sincerely Our trip was memorable. Prior to the departure you were very prompt to answer our numerous questions. The organization of the tour was commendable; the sites visited were enlightening and instructive, the quality of the hotel rooms and the service provided by the hotel staff simply impeccable. We also appreciated the fact that we were able to pay all predictable expenses such as shows, insurance, and tipping prior to our departure. Dear staff of Cannetic Travel, I would like to tell you how wonderful your touring staff was. Your staff was extremely professional, pleasant, accommodating, and personable. I would like to especially thank William and Leo for their devotion and efforts in making an extremely unfortunate situation more bearable. Just wanted to share that we had a most fascinating trip with amazing experiences in China and that we appreciate the service that you provided. We give it our thumbs up and rank this as a "5-star" trip to anyone who is interested in it; especially those who are going to China for the first time. We have spoken highly of it with our friends and family members since our return home. On a final note, we want to let David know how much we appreciated his presence on the tour with us and we were sad to see that he was unable to accompany us to Guilan and Xian.
