Q : May I take Chinese currency to in and out China?
A : A passenger entering or leaving China is allowed to carry no more than RMB 20,000 with him. You are required to declare your import of Chinese currency exceeding 20,000 RMB. But as it is very easy to exchange USD and some other currencies into Chinese RMB in the hotels or the bank of china, so it is not necessary to bring the Chinese currency with you to china.
Q : What currency should I bring?
A : We suggest you bring your major credit cards, debit card, and a small amount of cash. Most hotels and shops in major cities accept most international credit cards. If you bring some cash to exchange Chinese currency, please make sure the cash is complete and clean. Chinese currency is called Renminbi (people's money), often abbreviated as RMB.
Q : Can I using my bank card to withdraw cash from an ATM?
A : You can withdraw cash (Chinese Yuan) from ATM machines with your debit card, but there is an internaitonal service surcharge (for details please check with your bank). You can find a 24-hours self-help service ATM in the Hotel, if no, please ask your tour guide for help.
Q : Can credit card be used in China?
